Sep 25, 2022 - Grade 7 (Sunday PM)

Hari Om,

 We all had a great 2^nd week of class.

Here is the riddle we shared.   What do you call a small mom?  Any guesses!!!

Following the routine we set last week, we practiced breathing, chanted OM 3 times, and daily prayers.

We watched the video to learn historical evidence about the existence of Rama. We located a few places: Kekeya, Ayodhya, Panchavati, Lanka, Rameswaram, and Vindhya Mountains on India Map so that kids can have a perspective of the whereabouts.

We started narrating Ramayana with the story of Valmiki.  Kids kept interacting with questions and answers. We learned about Ravana's boons, Rama's birth, and Vasistha and Viswamitra's feud about the divine cow Sabala. We will continue the story in the next class.

 Bhagavad Geeta, chapter 3 of the year,  Karma yoga's essence had been explained to the class prior to watching the Intro & video primer on the pronunciation of the words.
