Hari Om!
Dear Parents,
Today's class schedule was as follows:
- Opening Prayers: Chanting Om three times, followed by Slokās (Vakratunda Mahākāya, Saraswati Namastubhyam and Buddhir Balam).
- Mahābhārata: After another round of student introductions, we started with Adi Parvā. Identifying characters through story and their place in the family tree was a fun activity.
- Geeta Chanting: We listened to the Chanting Primer that gave us pointers on sounds and pronunciations that we will encounter in Chapter 3.
The chanting primer link will be posted on the Class WhatsApp group. Please have the children practice as often as possible.
We request at least one parent to stay on premises during Bala Vihar, and preferably attend an Adult study group class. This motivates the children to attend and gives rise to discussion.
We do not have class next week(10/2). See you all on Sunday, October 9.
