· After taking the correct seating posture, we chanted OM 3 times.
· Opening Prayer ( Om Sahanavavatu) We said the meaning of the prayer after chanting: May God Protect us , May He nourish us. May we energetically work together. May our studies be brilliant. May we never have hatred for each other. Om May there be peace.
Students practiced remembering the first line.
· Attendance: Students caught a squishy ,smiley ball thrown to them, stood up at their turn, said their name and greeted Hari Om
· Daily Prayer ( karagre Vasate): (Pg 14 My prayer blue book). We learned how to look at the palm in the morning after getting up from bed, Laxmiji at the tip, at the base Saraswati Goddess and in the middle of the palm Govinda. Students practiced identifying and naming pictures of Goddesses Laxmi and Saraswati and God Krishna same as Govinda. Also, students observed that mixing brown paint with green, does not make white paint but it can happen with a brown cow eating green grass and giving white milk. Only God is the one who can do this magic (Review of first lesson with 3 questions)
· Topic of the day: A for aspiration. Children attempted to guess what A for is. Students spelled word Aspiration by sounds of letters. Other word for aspiration is ambition or goal. Students told us what they want to be when they grow up.
· Story: Story of Dronacharya and his test to find out who amongst the Kauravas and Pandavas was the best archer. Arjuna's answer was the best answer, so he gets to shoot the arrow at the target. Since Arjuna was well focused on his target (head of the bird sitting on the tree) and had practiced archery, and worked hard to be the best archer, acharya announced him to be the best archer.
· Inference: Question: Why Arjuna was determined as the best archer?
1. He had aspiration and he was determined to be the best
2. He worked hard and practiced regularly
3. He was single pointed.
· Game : I can reach my goal. Reaching for blown balloons with a yardstick.at 3 heights ( very high, very low and at the height where some efforts would be needed.
· Inference : If goal is too high that one cannot succeed to reach in spite of efforts . It is not a good goal. If goal is easy to attain with no or minimal effort, just like balloon at the low level. Then that cannot be an ambition. Ambition or aspiration is one that requires some hard work to reach goal. Challenges help us to grow intellectually.

· Due to early dismissal: 1.40 we missed Bhajan, yoga postures and Gita Chanting.
· Saraswati Pooja : 1.45 Students performed pooja under the guidance of the priests in the prayer hall
