Hari om parents!
This was our last class before the winter break, We began our class with Likhitha jaapa followed by Daily prayers and Ganesh Panchratnam.Extremely happy that our few of kids were able to memorize and recite Ganesh pancharatnam without any aid from the book. We are very proud of them and kudos to all of them and to you all. Please pass on our appreciation to the kids and continue to encourage. There are few competitions conducted by our chinmaya vrindavan like story telling competition,Sholkathon competition and Bhajanotsav. We request you to please register the kids and have them practice a story from Mahabharatha or any other story per the competition guidelines.Today we played a jeopardy game. We had two teams, Chitrangada and Vichitraveerya. Our Vichitravirya team won the jeopardy game.Later we watched a small animated video of Mahabharata before swamiji's session of geeta chanting. The kids practiced Bhagavad gita chapter 3 verses 1-8 and learnt new verses 9-10.Thus ended our classes for today with Jeopardy and watching short video of mahabharata.we did a quick pop quiz before we left to the prayer hall for aarati and pledge. It was our class's turn to do the Aarathi. The kids were so good they sang aarthi and pledge and also shared the mike with their friends and took turns. So proud of them.
With pranams,
Shivram and Anuradha
