· After taking the correct seating posture, we chanted OM 3 times
· Opening Prayer ( Om Sahanavavatu pg. 8 My prayers green book). We reviewed the meaning of this prayer as we had a new student.
· Prayer of Bhagvan Ganesh : Vakratunda Mahakaya ( Pg 27 My Prayers Green book)
· Attendance: Students stood up when the first letters of their names were called and greeted Hari Om.
· Daily Prayers : We chanted Karagre Vasate Laxmi ( Prayer after getting up in the morning), Saraswati Namastubhyam( Prayer before study),and Gange cha Yaamune chaiva (Prayer before Bath) (My Prayers Green book pg 11) Pl help students to memorize.

· Topic of the day : I for Intelligence and J for Japa
· I for Intelligence
· Activity #1 Brainstorming difference between animals and human beings. We discussed what is the function of mind and intelligence. Students completed worksheet to identify use of mind vs intelligence with scenarios read out to them and wrote M for Mind and I for intelligence
· Story : Students listened to the story: Celestial fruit. A story of the race between Bhagavan Ganesha and Kartikeya. Bhagavan Ganesh used intelligence and won the race. Moral of the story : You win when you use intelligence, Think before you speak, Think before you act
· Letter J for Japa
· Student heard : Om Namah Shivay: dhun in You tube, Japa is the repetition that builds our concentration. We succeed when we focus.
· Activity # 1 Chanting OM
· Activity # 2 Special Touch: Sitting in circle, Saying Ram ad touching next student
· Activity #3 Singing bhajan Khate bhi Ram Kaho with actions. Wordings posted in the K Balavihar WhatsApp group
· Activity# 4 What is OM : Understanding Om requires opening and closing of mouth. Any word that we say, we open or close mouth. Om represents all words and everything in the world.
· Activity# 5 Checking concentration: Students saw a pile of items for 1 minute and tried to recall the number of items they saw when items were covered.
· Dismissal to the Prayer Hall to watch the play presentation of 9th graders.
· We missed likhit japa, Gita chanting pl help students to memorize the second verse of Gita. We are planning to send Audio recording to Gita Chanting training team. The Link for the practice
