 After taking the correct seating posture, we chanted OM 3 times
 Opening Prayer ( Om Sahanavavatu pg. 8 My prayers green book). We reviewed the meaning of the verses.
 Prayer of Bhagvan Ganesh : Vakratunda Mahakaya ( Pg 27 My Prayers Green book)
 Attendance: Students transferred snowman to each other, stood up at their turn, said their name and greeted Hari Om
 Daily Prayers (karagre Vasate): We chanted this prayer in the groups of boys vs girls. We tried to memorize the first verse of the prayer before and during bath (Both prayers in the My Prayers Green book pg 11) Please help students to memorize.
 Practice of Focusing: We turned of the lights and students focused on lamp for 2-3 minutes,
 Review of previous lessons: We were unable to review the previous lessons.
 Topic of the day : G for God. Students participated in brainstorming on the
questions
1. Who is God: God is father who loves and cares for all of us.2. Who Knows God? Who gets to see God? 3 Have you seen God? 4 What does He look like? 5 What does God do? 6 Does God have children? 7 Where does he live? 8 What are God's gifts to us? 9 What do we do in return?
Some of the students came out with unique answers " earth, parents" . All did well in answering the questions. The answers to these questions are glued in the alphabet safari book.
 Activity: Students saw the picture of the Virat roop (form) of the God. Since we cannot see the Virat roop yet, we invite our favorite God to appear in the murti ,so we can do worship ( do pooja), pray, and say thank you for all the gifts God has given us. Students watched Pooja of Ganesh idol in the classroom (offering of milk, yogurt, abhishekam, Kum kum, turmeric , dhoop, Lamp and Naivedya( candies) .Students distributed prasad.
 Bhajan: Krishna here, Krishna there, Shiva here ,Shiva there, Laxmi here, Laxmi there, Saraswati here, Saraswati there. This bhajan was sung with gestures to show flute for God Krishna, Ganga coming for God Shiva , blessing hands for Devi Laxmiji, and Playing veena for Devi Saraswatiji.
 Yoga Poses: Tree, Windmill, mouse, lion, butterfly, pretzel with deep breathing.
 Bhagavat Geeta Chanting: Students practiced chanting and memorizing first verse of
Bhagavat Gita Chapter 3. The chanting link and lyrics link for the same is below

 Dismissal to prayer hall
Pl note
 Students have received blue books. Please bring them to every class as we are
planning to write likhit Japa in the book. We write japa whenever time permits.
 We Will be having show and tell next balavihar Jan 22 nd . Students are given
construction papers to glue pictures of what they think is God's gift to them.
Students are given coloring pages for G for God. They can color and draw a picture
of their favorite God on the page of G for God Alphabet Safari book
