Hari Om,
We began class with starting prayers and Lingashtakam. We then started teaching them the Shiva Panchakshari stotram. We will continue learning it in the next few weeks.
We then brainstormed ideas for our class play and put up the ideas on the board and voted on them. Kids came up with topics that they thought interested them and we talked more to clarify their ideas. We formed multiple groups and asked them to come up with a scene to illustrate these ideas and write a script. We will continue working on it offline on google classroom.
We then reviewed Geeta Shlokas 1-18. We would like all of them to participate in the Geeta Chanting Yajna this year on April 22nd. We shared Swamiji's youtube playlist in our class group to guide those new to chanting. Most of them are chanting very well.
We have the Kalarangam event on March 4th where kids who have been learning any type of classical music or dance or instrument get an opportunity to perform on stage. Please register them at http://bit.ly/3kRjcmK.
