·         Topic of the day: L for love

·         Activity #1  Brainstorming: We brainstormed what love is by presenting scenarios. All students participated in reading sentences during brainstorming. Kudos to all! We learned when a person loves someone, he or she works hard for that person and sacrifices without complaints. We cannot live without love. Our parents give us a lot of things because they love us. God has given us the most and the best gifts. God is love.

·         Story 1 Gandhiji's love. Gandhiji sees a human being in the person who steals from his ashram and offers food first before talking about punishment.

·         Story #2 The best gift: A story of a teacher who considers the best gift for her is from a student who always does his homework and helps other students and consoles a student who is unable to get a gift for her.

·         Activity #2 Students glued popsicle sticks to build a house and wrote glue binds a house and love binds a home. It is love in the families that differentiates between house and home. House falls apart without glue. Lives collapse without love.
