·         Topic of the day: M for mother and N for nobility

·         Story 1: students heard a story of a boy named Rudra who was polite and always helped his mom. One day, due to the influence of his friend, demanded payment for every chore he did at home. Mother presented him with her bill for all work she does for the family from morning to night and gets 0$ as a payment. This opens the eyes of Rudra, and with tears, he apologizes to his mother.

·         Exploration: We learned that besides our own mother there are other mothers like 1) mother nature (sun, moon, stars, planet, whole cosmos that serves us). 2 Mother India from where our ancestors ( Grandparents, great grandparents came) and also, we received this spiritual knowledge. Mother shruti ( scriptures such as 4 Vedas, Upanishads, Brahmanas (rituals for Priests), Aranyaka(secrets of ritual given by Gurus only to students who have renounced to live in forest forever). These texts tell us the meaning and goal of life. Shruti are scriptures which were heard by sages from God and passed to mankind. Countries where you are born are your mothers hence called motherland.
