Hari Om Parents,
We started the class with our daily prayers ,Ganesh Pancharatnam and Nirvana Shatakam.
We reviewed the homework given to kids, only a handful came back with scripts for the play with their ideas. We watched a video on mahabharata from where we left off i.e. after karna's story up until the draupadi's swayamvar. We watched the episode of wax palace which is one of our discussions to the annual day's play,also went to see why Arjuna was jealous of Ekalavya who is also a good archer and who learns the form of archery not directly from Dronacharya. We covered what is matsya yantra and how arjuna was so perfect in shooting the eye of fish, the pandavas meet Krishna and Balaram for the first time after the draupadi's swayamvar.
Since we are a few weeks away from our annual day play, we request all kids to be present at all sessions of balavihar as we want to decide the characters and practice the play.we would encourage all the children to participate in the play.
It was about time to leave for Prayer hall as there was a special program on earth day.

NOTE:- Nextrex Challenge
Ashram has signed up for the NexTrex challenge where we as a community will collect plastic wraps and films that can't be recycled in the curbside recycling in our communities. If we can collect 500lbs in a 6 month span, Ashram will earn a bench made of the recycled materials! We request everyone coming to the Ashram to remember and bring these everyday items that we throw in the trash to the Ashram and put it in the NexTrex bin in the lobby
