After finishing the opening prayers, we began to discuss chapters 11 to 17 of the Vibhishana Gita. Children already were well versed with these chapters and were able to answer all questions very well.
The kids actively participated in talking about the arrows, quiver, shield, sword, and axe. We then proceeded to have a quiz on the Ramayana. We also discussed significant moments of the Ramayana that the kids felt had an impact on them. Key moments mentioned were sacrifice of Jatayu, Jambavaan's inspiration of Hanuman, Keikeyi's jealousy, Ravana's nature and foolishness. The kids had some outside time for the last 20 minutes of the class.
