Hari Om Parents
We are sending a brief summary for the month of May.
Continuing the Vibhishana Gita teachings:
The knowledge of the self is the Bow. God is everywhere, hence I am an extension of the Lord.
A pure and steady mind is the Quiver. A pure mind is a mind with noble thoughts.
Sama ( quiet mind), Yama( the 5 noble values of life- non- injury, truthfulness, celibacy, Non stealing, and Non hoarding
Niyama - or the daily disciplines- austerity, study of scriptures, contentment, purity of mind, contentment and worship of God are the Arrows.
Devotion to the Lord is the unbreakable Armour that protects us from our inner enemies of anger, jealousy etc....
Learning to ride on this Dharma Chariot and living by these 23 values helps us to perform the right actions and be happy.
This concludes Vibhishana Gita.
We also concluded our Ramayana story, which happened in the Yudha Kand..
The fierce battle happened between Lord and Ravana. Ravana is finally defeated. This is the victory of good over evil.
Vibhishana is crowned the king of Lanka. Rama rajya, an age of supreme contentment, joy and goodness took birth in Ayodhya. Rama and Sita live forever in the hearts of the devotees. The humble and devoted Hanuman is present wherever the story of Rama is sung with devotion and complete surrender.
