Hari Om Parents,
It was exciting to see children in person. They are curious, interested and energetic throughout the class. We had a wonderful class of BalaVihar.
What we covered in the class today:
We started our class with chanting OM 3 times
· Children practiced Ganesha Sharanam Bhajan
· We chanted beginning prayers for goddesses Saraswati (Saraswati namastubhyam), Lakshmi (Karage vasate) and Durga (sarva mangala mangale).
· We learned Guru strotram "Akhandala mandalaakaram", all children participated in learning seven verses of Guru stotram from pg. 61 of My Prayers book
· Then we learned about Bhagavatham and Narada ji
- We discussed on what is difference between Bhagawath geeta and Bhagavatam
- We listened to story of Narad ji explaining to Vyasa ji to write glories of Lord Vishnu
- Children watched short video on Narad ji
- Children participated in Saraswati Pooja with 108 names of Mata Saraswati, in the assembly hall due to Navaratri celebrations
- Children participated in Arti and Pledge.
We look forward to seeing children next week.
