Today we did the regular recitation of our daily shlokas and memorized Akhanda Mandalakarm guru stotram.
- We also learnt new Ganesh Shloka Vakrathunda Mahakaya
- We learnt about the
- The stories of Vanara army going to in different directions in search of Mother Sita
- The search by the army in the south led by Jambavan, Angada, Hanuman and Neela took the longest to get back to Rama with status on the search
- Because they had obstacles on the way,
- Tapasvini Swayamprabha who rescued them from the magical cave and
- The help from Sampaati because of which they finally find out Sita is in lanka
- Hanuman as the chosen one to cross lanka
- We started Sundara kanda with Hanuman growing larger than mountains sped up towards lanka.
- His encounters with mountain Mainaaka, Surasa and rakshasi that highlighted his strength, quick and subtle thinking
- Then two stories of current times were narrated and the kids were asked to relate the characters of the stories with the characters from Ramayana
- We introduced quiz time after Ramayana stories to make if fun for the kids to register what they learn. The kids are divided into two teams and questions around the topics discussed will be asked.
- We did Likita japa.
- We recorded shloka 2 of Bhagwad Gita and worked on Shloka 3
