· On arrival while waiting for other students to join, students present in the classroom wrote ॐ in the Likhit Japa book.
· After taking the correct seating posture, we chanted OM 3 times.
· Opening Prayer ( Om Sahanavavatu pg. 8 My prayers green book).
· Prayer of Bhagvan Ganesh : Vakratunda Mahakaya ( Pg 27 My Prayers Green book)
· Attendance: Students stood up when the first letters of their names were called and greeted Hari Om.
· Daily Prayers : We chanted Karagre Vasate Laxmi ( Prayer after getting up in the morning), Saraswati Namastubhyam( Prayer before study),and Gange cha Yaamune chaiva (Prayer before Bath) (My Prayers Green book pg. 11). We learned the first verse of the new prayer, the prayer before eating : Brahmarpanam brahma havih in the My prayer book pg 12 ( green book)

Topic of the day: O for Obedience and R for right.
Before beginning the new lesson we reviewed why we say Matrudevo bhava. How 3 Goddesses ( Laxmi, Saraswati, Durga devi enters our mother's body and blesses us, corrects us.
· Activity #1 Brainstorming O for obedience : We discussed the chaotic situations that will occur if the Sun, moon takes a day off, rain does not fall,mom does not cook, dad does not keep promises, cars don't follow the road signs. Obeying rules of nature is important for harmony. We need to promptly obey our parents, teachers and adults taking care of us for our safety and it is in our best interest. In the next class we will review how Bhagvan Ramchandraji was obedient.
Story #1 The Obedient Child: We learned a story of a boy named Vikram whose father was a sailor of a boat.Vikram obeyed to to his father during the chaotic situation of the fire on the boat and remained on the designated spot as indicated by his father while father was trying to save lives of the people on the boat. Father was proud of Vikram as he did not listen to people and jumped in the life boat when people invited him. Everyone's life was saved. Vikram and his father were airlifted by a helicopter.

Lesson 2 : R is for Right
We discussed why we are doing letter R before P. We are learning alphabets in a vedantic way ( vedantic Alphabet). So we need to learn all the values first that make us fit for doing prayers, P for prayers.Prayers bring Q for quietness in us.
Brainstorming: Doing right things
Students were given questionnaires with various scenarios. Teacher read out scenarios and students marked R for right and W for wrong as answers by thinking about the scenarios.
Story #2 The Rock On The Road
We learned a story of a boy who was the only person to move the rock on the road that was an obstacle and causing accidents to the pedestrians. A soldier on horse tripped, milkman spilled milk, oldman dropped his fruit basket but none of them cared to remove the rock. Eventhough not strong compared to a soldier, milkman and an old man with a basket of fruits, he attempted to move the rock. The king secretly who was watching, helped him and the boy got a reward from the king.
Activity #2 We discussed what are the right things we must always do.
