Apr 30, 2023 - Kindergarten (Sunday AM)

 Hari Om Parents,

Today was the twenty-third class of Balavihar!!  Some of our kids participated in Bhajanotsav and they all sang so well. We shared the pictures and video to all kids. And did Cheer claps for the Bhajanotsav participants.

Here is the summary of what we covered in the class today:

Opening Prayers:  We together chanted three OMs and then chanted the Opening Prayers - Sahana Vavatu. All the kids chanted together.

Slokas: We recited all the Slokas we learnt so far, the kids who learnt the slokas led the recital.

Attendance: Was taken with each kid saying Hari Om when their name was called.

Discussion: We shared the details of the Annual Day Play, and what each one's role is. And what we are trying to convey through our Play to all!

Exploration:  We discussed what Bhakti is? and what Bhakti bhava is? And how we can develop Bhakti and help others, also develop Bhakti by singing bhajans, nama japa, meditation, pooja, yagnya etc. And through Bhakti we can show our immense love,devotion and faith in God and engross ourselves in bhajans, nama japa, meditation, pooja, slokas, yagnya, reading scriptures etc and get closer to God. And correlated Bhakti concept to our Play concept.

Yoga: Jumping Jacks.

Play Practice: We grouped kids based on their roles in the Play and went over their role and their specific dialogues in the Play. And we started practice with some kids. 

It was another very collaborative session with kids. Kids were excited about our Play and actively participated. 

We are proud of our Bhajanotsav participants and sincerely thank the mentors for giving their valuable time and for patiently teaching our kids.

Kudos to kids for giving a wonderful performance!!
